Hello guys!!

First of all I wanna thank my friends and my parents and especially to my brother (Root cause for my gate preparation) who were beyond my rank 1835.

Next i wanna thank Sashank Boddula for giving me your pen(IBALL) for my gate preparation without which it would not be possible to qualify gate(It sounds weird but it is true)and encouraging me constantly.

I am writing this article not to tell you how to crack GATE exam.But i am just telling you the preparation strategy which i had followed.You may follow your own.

Six months before Exam:

I used to concentrate more on class notes and even if  get doubts then i used to refer the corresponding Nptel in Youtube.Every day i used to practice 12-13 hrs per day.When i complete a topic ,I used to solve the previous gate ,isro,drdo question related to that topic.

Things that you definitely require to crack gate:

Confidence that you will crack it.

Things that u feel crazy but imp :

1.First you should know that it is not GRE.Just one month preparation will definitely land in the disqualify zone.Atleast 6 months preparation is needed.

2.The pen you are using.

U need to practice at least 1000 problems in each subject.So use a pen preferably ink pen because it writes very thickly on any quality paper so that you may not get bored while writing for long times.

3.Use pen and paper for any of calculation so that you would be clear in begining stages.During later stages you wont have to use it.

4.Prepare all the subjects..All of them are important.Remember that always you will get very tuff questions from the subjects that you know.

Things that you should not Consider:

Dont bother about how others are preparing for gate.Just make Ur plan and execute it.Thats it!! U r Done!!

Another thing to say..is the rank that i got is too bad.Any thing below AIR100 is the best,because you would get the direct admission to IIT.Otherwise you should face the problems like written test,interview,group discussion etc
